Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Painter to join our team in supporting oil and gas and infrastructure projects. This role focuses on applying industrial coatings to pipelines, equipment, and structures, with additional responsibilities in surface preparation and material handling. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and eager to develop skills in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities: 

Industrial Coating Application: Apply protective coatings (e.g., paints, sealants, or specialized coatings) to oil and gas infrastructure, including pipelines, tanks, and structural components, ensuring quality and adherence to project specifications.

Surface Preparation: Perform surface cleaning and preparation tasks, such as sandblasting, power washing, or manual cleaning, to ensure proper coating adhesion.

Material Handling: Assist in mixing, handling, and storing coating materials, ensuring proper use and disposal per safety and environmental guidelines.

Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain coating equipment, such as spray guns, brushes, and rollers, to ensure optimal performance.

General Labor: Support job site operations by loading/unloading materials, organizing tools, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to safety protocols, wear appropriate PPE, and participate in safety training and briefings.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors, painters, and other crew members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications: 

No prior experience required; on-the-job training is provided.

Basic knowledge of painting or coating processes is a plus, but not mandatory.

Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.

Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and willingness to learn.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Working Conditions: 

Work is performed on oil and gas or infrastructure job sites, including outdoor environments, confined spaces, or elevated areas.

Exposure to chemicals, fumes, dust, and noise; strict adherence to safety protocols and PPE is required.

Full-time schedule with potential for overtime and occasional weekend work based on project demands.

Out-of-town travel may be required.

Compensation & Benefits: 

Starting wage: $18–$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
