Job Title: Entry-Level Laborer – Oil & Gas and Infrastructure

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Entry-Level Laborer to join our team in supporting oil and gas and infrastructure projects. This role focuses on material preparation, sandblasting, welding support, and coating applications. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Material Preparation: Handle, clean, and prepare materials for oil and gas infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet project specifications.
  • Sandblasting: Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for coating or welding, following safety protocols.
  • Welding Support: Assist welders by setting up equipment, handling materials, and maintaining a clean work area.
  • Coating Applications: Apply protective coatings to pipelines, structures, or equipment as directed, ensuring quality and adherence to standards.
  • General Labor: Perform tasks such as loading/unloading materials, maintaining tools, and keeping job sites clean and organized.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, wear appropriate PPE, and participate in safety training and briefings.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and team members to complete tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines.

Qualifications: 

  • No prior experience required; on-the-job training is provided.
  • Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in construction or industrial settings is a plus.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Working Conditions: 

  • Work is performed on job sites, which may include outdoor environments, confined spaces, or heights.
  • Potential exposure to dust, fumes, and loud noises; proper safety measures and PPE are mandatory.
  • Full-time schedule with potential overtime and occasional weekend work based on project needs.
  • Out-of-town work may be required.
